Posted: 3-Aug-06 Clean doesn’t even begin to describe it! Room was very clean. Enjoyed the "homemade" cookies in the evening and the continental breakfast was delicious all the way down to the fresh made waffles!

Posted: 23-May-06 What A Delightful Surprise! The Cedars is an extremely well maintained 50 room motel adjacent to two other popular "name brand" motels. It is close to major attractions in the downtown area of Yakima. The room was very clean (without that "motel" smell) and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to find a small fridge and a microwave oven in the room. Upon our departure, we were sorry to be meeting family for breakfast, because the motel offered fresh waffles and hard boiled eggs along with all the other customary things found in a Continental breakfast.

Posted: 16-May-06 Local Treasure One review I saw prior to my stay listed this hotel as a hidden treasure. I would agree. For the star rating, this hotel is a great deal for the price. The staff was good but the room was great! One of the cleanest and well maintained. I discovered after checkout that I left something in my room and when I returned I noticed the maids had taken down the shower curtain to clean it. I wish more hotels did this!
